Founded in 1990 by Dave Simons and Dan Wolfe, Designer’s Press, Inc. is a full service print company specializing in offset, digital, wide format, web-to-print and fulfillment. They have an uncompromising commitment to quality and have grown to become Orlando’s premier print company. They are focused on high quality production and have a strong reputation of high integrity. The name itself indicates that they gravitate to the high-end design work and will utilize their strong core sales team to ensure that even the most complicated jobs are handled with the utmost care.

On October 15th, Designer’s Press invited vendors and clients to their Graphic Expo event to celebrate their 25th anniversary. This year’s theme was ‘Blockbuster Years’ and they took significant milestones over their 25 year history and showcased them alongside a blockbuster movie from that year. Throughout the shop, they were able to showcase their wide format printing capabilities with banners spotlighting various milestones including an expansion, a new location, new printing presses, new trucks and more.

Ken Heba, our Printing Papers Account Manager in Florida, attended the event and shared his thoughts. “Designer’s print shop was transformed into a high-end gourmet buffet complete  with dancefloor, DJ and wine bar; you almost forgot you were in a room with 3 – 40″ offset presses along with a full complement of bindery equipment.  The Graphic Expo was a very successful industry mixer allowing vendors to display and feature the latest and greatest media’s, bindery techniques and printed samples.  It was refreshing to see the level of participation and enthusiasm/interest from the designers who attended.  Great show!  Hoping Designers does it again soon!”

Whatever the job, Designer’s Press is up to the challenge. Their longevity and body of work ensures that they will be around for years to come. I had the pleasure of meeting Dave and the passion around their craft that he exudes is infectious. I can’t wait to see what they are up to next.
