I can speak from experience that every parent wants their child to grow-up and be a smart, successful adult. It turns out that books, the real, physical, actual book, play an important role in a child’s future earning potential.  A recent study by Italy’s University of Padova, showed that children who grew up with 10 or more non-school books in the home earned more money as adults.

 

As part of our PAPERbecause campaign, we have always said that ‘Paper is Knowledge’.  There is nothing like a good book to spur the imagination.  And it’s important to note that reading a paper book versus an e-book makes a difference with recollection of material, as noted in a recent Huffington Post article.

 

With more and more research confirming the benefits of reading and writing on paper it makes it easy for parents to decide that paper still has many advantages.
